"Ooh Boy" lyrics

When I woke up this, morning, I knew it was a special day
There was something about the way the birds sang out as if to say
Maybe something's gonna happen (happen) to change your life today
Gonna make you wanna sing out and without a doubt, yes, indeed it was a special day
His eyes lit up like candles (candles) his smile put me in a daze (daze)
We'd giggle and blush, he put my head in a rush (hey)
But I still didn't know his name (woo)

Ooh, Boy! It's a new boy
In school today, I saw him running (running and playing games)
Playing those silly games (la, la, la, la, la)
Ooh, Boy!
I think of you boy when he smiled at me that way
I felt so special
I would like to know your name
(I would like to know your name)

Mmm, mmm, mm, I wonder what his name is
Is it Jimmy or Billy, Simon or Paul (what is your name?)
Lasiana, Christopher, William or Shawn
I just don't know, but I wanna know

Can you tell me
His eyes lit up like candles, his smile put me in a daze
We'd giggle and blush he put my head in a rush, but I still didn't know his name

Ooh, boy It's a new boy
In school today, I saw him running (running and playing games)
Playing those silly games (la, la, la, la, la)
Ooh, Boy!
I think of you boy when he smiled at me that way
I felt so special (special)
I would like to know your name
(I would like to know your name)

Ooh, Boy! It's a new boy
In school today, I saw him running (running and playing games)
Playing those silly games (la, la, la, la, la)
Ooh, Boy!
I think of you boy when he smiled at me that way
I felt so special
I would like to know your name
(I would like to know your name)

I would like to know your
