"Bin Night" lyrics

Don't forget it's bin night tonight
Bin night
Which bin goes out at night tonight?
On bin night
Is it red? Or is it green?
Then there's yellow, that's for recycling
Bin's on the street, now you can rest and sleep

Now it's garbage day, truck's on its way
Neighbor runs out, you can hear the shout
"My bin's not out, can you turn around?"
The truck drives by in the blink of an eye
Neighbor down the street, wearing bare feet
Pajamas on, garbage truck's gone, you forgot bin night

Keep the lid on the bin at night tonight
On bin night
There's a bird around the bins at night tonight
On bin night

It's not a pigeon or mapgie
It has two small, black, beady eyes
A bird mysterious could be an ibis
Bendy beak, white wings, ancient Egyptians
Revered by all drawings on the wall
In heiroglyph, an ancient myth
Today we see them roaming free, majestic along
On the bin enthroned, it's a bin chicken

Don't forget it's bin night tonight
Bin night
Which bin goes out at night tonight?
On bin night
Is it red? Or is it green?
Then there's yellow, that's for recycling
Bin's on the street, now you can rest and sleep

Now it's garbage day, truck's on its way
Neighbor runs out, you can hear the shout
"My bin's not out, can you turn around?"
The truck drives by in the blink of an eye
Neighbor down the street, wearing bare feet
Pajamas on, garbage truck's gone, you forgot bin night
