"Oh, What Shall We Wear To The Ballet Today?" lyrics

Oh, what shall we wear to the ballet today?
My denim jeans, a coat, a hat
Oh, what shall we wear to the ballet today?
Hmm, somethin' like that

Oh, what shall we wear to the ballet today?
A little bowtie and a petticoat too
Oh, what shall we wear to the ballet today?
My lovely shoes that are blue

La-la-la
La-la-la-la
La-la-la-la
Off to the ballet today

La-la-la
This is fun
La-la-la-la
La-la-la-la
Let's dance our cares away

Oh, how do we get to the ballet today?
A train or a bus
Oh, how do we get to the ballet today?
Let's walk, don't make a fuss

How long till we get to the ballet today?
Walkin' takes our cares away
How long till we get to the ballet today?
We should've taken a bus
Because my feet are sore from walkin', oh
