Bergets andar, fördärvets makt
Irrljus skymtar i sinnets vrå
Svaga rop ur tunnlars djup
Följer runors svaga glöd
I underjorden!
Ristade i väggar kalla och grå
Stiger in i ett bergavalv
Porlande vatten ekar
Skimrande väggar av bleknad färg
Bilder ristade av mången hand
Släcker min törst
Sköljer min kropp
Vila i kammarens famn
Aktsam, vaksam
Törnets tand
Lyssnar till bergets sång
Vattnets rogivande töcken
Lågmälda toner från djupet
Visdomen från Ymers sång
Väggarnas bleka bilder
Flyter tydligt samman
Skimmer blir till ett skarpt ljus
Likt Sunnas strålar av guld
De talar om djupen
Och de som där bida
Talar om vägar nio
Och runor för kraft
