Att åter ses när isen bryter upp
Börjar min resa mot Ägirs hall
En sista blick mot min viloplats
I nedan står tiden still
I ovan är djupet svart
I öster blir du bunden, av kval
I väster står porten tung
I söder där blir du blind
I norr finner du svar
Land möter hav, natt möter dag
Is möter jord, frågor möter svar
Stjärnors sken faller på is
Speglar den svarta ytan
Lämnar den snötäckta strandens kant
Där hav möter jord, frusen mark
Bortom den ärrade spegeln i fjärran
Kallar min fjättrade själabror
Över Ägirs frusna hall
Bär min väg för att bli hel
Nio är vågorna
Nio är synerna
Nio är nätternas kval
Nio är smärtorna

The first snow of winter falls to my hand
Gazing up at the grey sky
Many moons have passed
Long anticipation for the time of ice
Feeling the breath of the forest
Breathing filled with ancient power
The raven calls me to show me the way to the halls of my fate
A farewell, a promise in blood
To meet once again when the ice breaks up
Beginning the journey to the halls of Aegir
One last look at my resting place
Down below time stands still
Up above the depths are black
In the East you will be bound
By agony
In the West the gate stands heavy
In the South you will be blinded
In the North you will find answers
Land meets the sea, night meets the day
Ice meets earth, questions meet answers
The glow of stars falls on ice, reflects the black surface
Leaves the snow covered rim of the shore
Where ocean meets earth, frozen ground
Beyond the scarred mirror in the distance
My shackled soul brother calls me
Over the frozen halls of Aegir
Leads the path to my being whole
Nine are the waves
Nine are the visions
Nine are the sufferings of the nights
Nine are the pains
Nine are the victims
Nine is the number of life
Dark is the night in spite of the light of stars
Heavy and tired soul and body
The wind chases over the ice
So bitter and cold
Memories surface, forgotten days
A pain petrifies my body
The night is illuminated with a blinding light
Falling to my knees, the din of voices
Faces twisted in strange grimaces
Shapes run past
Dreamlike figures with wings of blood
Dance across the ground
Sword song and horn sound
Tramping of hooves and animal roaring
Incantations and rune song
Sacrifice and offerings unto Grimnir
Wolf grin and bear's paw
The fury of a Berserk
Shadowlike souls with fire turned blue
The Wolf let loose in the light of the moon
