This song was released as a single in Germany, Spain, Yugoslavia and Bolivia in 1979. The B-side of the single was "Dead On Time" for German and Spanish releases and "In Only Seven Days" for Yugoslavian and Bolivian releases.

This track is famous by that it was often requested by the audience in concerts. The opening lines of the song were sometimes sung by Freddie Mercury live instead of the introduction to "Bohemian Rhapsody", so that "Allah will pray for you" segued to "Mama, just killed a man".

An almost full version of the song was performed by the band from the "Crazy Tour" in late 1979 to "The Game Tour" in 1980, with Freddie Mercury on piano.
