It's my teenage life in a book
It's my diary, and drawings, and all of that crap

And it's pretty obvious I never planned 'em

I think love is just a word some guy made up
Because he had something to sell

My dad called me a freeloader, told me today
All I do is just take, take, and take
My dad's such a douche, but it's kind of the truth
We all know I'm one big mistake

Pages and pages
Hoping that someday I might understand 'em
My book of random
Just random

So what's up today? Well, I'm here in my room
And maybe I'll come out next week
Wherever I go, people know who I am
And they gawk at me like I'm some freak

When Mom's movie came out, I lost all of that weight
So no one would know who I was
People liked me back then, but I'm binging again
Craving food like some Xanax buzz

One more example, self-pitying and dumb
For my book of random

And now that I've turned seventeen
I'll search for a job, or I'll maybe deal drugs
Or maybe join the Marines

I look to the future
I look to the day I can finally abandon
These pages and pages of whining and rages
And let myself off the hook
And get rid of this book
