"Her Majesty" lyrics
"Her Majesty"
Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl
But she doesn't have a lot to say
Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl
But she changes from day to day
I wanna tell her that I love her a lot
But I gotta get a belly full of wine
Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl
Someday I'm gonna make her mine, oh yeah
Someday I'm gonna make her mine

Writer(s): Paul McCartney, John Lennon
Having only 23 seconds in length it is the shortest song of the band.
This song should have been put between "Mean Mr. Mustard" and "Polythene Pam" but Paul McCartney disliked it while listening to the rough mix of the album, and the second sound engineer John Kurlander cut it out. But instead of throwing it away he and Malcolm Davies from Apple agreed to put it at the end after 14 seconds of silence.
The first pressings of the "Abbey Road" LP didn't have any mentions of this song on sleeves. Even the record label didn't have any references to it. So, it might be that this unlisted song was the first hidden track in the rock music.
Paul McCartney performed a live version of this song during the concert dedicated to the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2002. The concert was called "Party at the Palace" and took place at the Garden of Buckingham Palace.
